AgroFresh, a global leader in post-harvest freshness and quality solutions, is pleased to announce its participation in the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show (GPFS), where the company will showcase its expanded product portfolio and global footprint following two strategic acquisitions and new FreshCloud platform demonstrations. In addition to exhibiting, AgroFresh also will host an in-booth discussion on the effectiveness of integrating solutions across a crop journey from pre-harvest to retail.

AgroFresh invites attendees to Booth #B2117 for “Get Berry Smart: How to Address Quality & Disruption Across the Supply Chain,” where experts will discuss innovative solutions including Harvista™, Berrisys™ and FreshCloud™. The presentation will be held at 3:30-3:45 PM ET followed by a reception.

Presenters are:

Deon Hugo, Business Development Manager USA & Canada, AgroFresh

Deon will discuss AgroFresh's technical solutions and their applications, specifically focusing on Berrisys and other post-harvest solutions. He will highlight how these technologies can be applied across different markets in the U.S. and Canada, addressing supply chain challenges and how AgroFresh is helping growers and producers maintain produce quality from field to market.

Kent Mueller, Digital Sales Lead, North America, AgroFresh

Kent will share the digital innovation behind FreshCloud, AgroFresh’s proprietary platform for managing produce freshness. He will speak to how FreshCloud uses data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to provide actionable insights for growers, packers, and retailers. FreshCloud enables businesses to make more informed decisions about produce quality, storage and transportation optimization, and ultimately food waste reduction by better predicting and managing freshness throughout the supply chain.

Mike Tucker, Director of Retail & Foodservice, North America, AgroFresh

Mike will focus on retail and foodservice applications offered by AgroFresh. He will speak about how AgroFresh’s post-harvest products, such as Harvista, Berrisys and FreshCloud, help retailers and foodservice companies maintain freshness and quality, reduce food waste, and improve shelf-life. He will share how these solutions lead to operational efficiencies, benefiting retailers by helping them meet customer demand for high-quality, fresh produce while cutting down on losses due to spoilage.

Through the recent acquisitions of Pace International, a provider of sustainable post-harvest solutions, and Tessara, a leader in intelligent packaging, AgroFresh has enhanced its offerings into key markets including China, Australia, Latin America, South Africa, and beyond. The expanded portfolio and geographic footprint position AgroFresh to continue leading the industry in providing innovative, sustainable solutions that protect produce quality and reduce food waste.

Clint Lewis, CEO of AgroFresh and IFPA Director, said:

“The Global Produce & Floral Show provides an ideal platform for AgroFresh to connect with industry leaders, growers, and partners from around the world. Our participation allows us to showcase our latest innovations in post-harvest solutions, share insights on market trends, and engage in meaningful conversations with stakeholders who are equally committed to sustainability and produce quality.”

Additional AgroFresh experts will be available throughout the show for discussions about the company’s expanded range of solutions that support produce quality from harvest through storage and transit.
