The 6th edition of the International Postharvest Unlimited Conference will be held in Madrid

The 6th edition of the INTERNATIONAL POSTHARVEST UNLIMITED CONFERENCE?of the International Society of Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) will take place in Madrid from 17 to 20 October 2017 during the celebration of FRUIT ATTRACTION 2017, the international fair of the fruit and vegetable sector. The Conference is a joint initiative of the Departments of Food Sciences of the Miguel Hern?ndez University (Alicante, Spain) and CEBAS-CSIC (Murcia, Spain). The conference aims to facilitate communication and dialogue on all key aspects to ensure optimal postharvest quality of fruits and vegetables, from production to postharvest handling. The sessions will cover the following topics: physiology and physiological disorders, metabolomics for quality, plant microbiota, postharvest storage (CA and MA), packaging and the latest innovations to reduce postharvest losses. The program will consist of plenary sessions of relevant scientists, oral sessions and e-poster sessions accompanied by a brief oral presentation to facilitate the exchange of ideas between scientists, professionals and students.
