Launch of the Postharvest Innovations Directory 2024 and the Postharvest Awards

Join us for the official unveiling of the Directorio Poscosecha de Novedades 2024 on Tuesday, October 8th at 11:30 a.m. at Agrobank Stand 7C21.

Since its inception in 1998, the Postharvest Directory has been a premier platform for companies offering specialized technology and services. The 2024 edition marks the return to a print format, blending the advantages of digital innovation with a fresh focus on the latest trends in postharvest technology.

We're also excited to introduce the inaugural Postharvest Awards, with two key categories:

  • Postharvest Innovation 2024, chosen by our readers from the most innovative products, services, or companies highlighted in the Directory.
  • Postharvest 4.0, which will honor a standout fruit and vegetable packinghouse for its leadership in innovation.

Book Launch: "Water Sustainability in Horticulture and Postharvest"

Join us on Tuesday, October 8th, at 4:00 p.m. for the launch of the digital book "Sostenibilidad hídrica en horticultura y poscosecha" at the Cajamar booth (7C22).

This book offers a comprehensive analysis of the crucial relationship between water and agriculture, showcasing technological innovations designed to optimize water usage in the cultivation, preservation, and processing of food. It features a variety of research projects focused on water sustainability, with insights from experts, researchers, and professionals from leading companies in the fruit and vegetable sector, ensuring a specialized and detailed perspective in every chapter.

The event will include a roundtable discussion featuring a distinguished panel of industry professionals who will delve into water-related challenges and explore solutions from various viewpoints, alongside our sponsoring companies. Confirmed participants include:

This technical dissemination magazine was developed in response to the growing demand within the sector for a platform that compiles and shares the most significant scientific advancements in postharvest, targeting a wider and more diverse audience.

The event will feature insights from several researchers who contributed to this inaugural edition, including:
