Catalytic Generators' ethylene generators have proudly held UL and TÜV SÜD certifications for over 25 years. These esteemed Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL) rigorously test electrical components and accessories in a controlled lab environment to ensure they meet stringent international health and safety standards.

Recently, the company chose to update its TÜV SÜD certification to align with the latest standards. Although Catalytic Generators’ facility consistently undergoes production inspections to maintain high-quality standards, the company seized the opportunity to further its commitment to providing the safest and most reliable ethylene generators available.

What does this mean for you? It means you can trust in Catalytic Generators' reliability. Ethylene generators are now certified by one of the world’s leading product testing laboratories, ensuring they are safe from foreseeable risks such as fire, electrical shock, and related hazards when used as directed.

Catalytic Generators is now fully compliant with the latest technical safety requirements, not only in the US but also in the UK and EU!

Catalytic Generators TÜV SÜD certification includes documentation confirming that the concentration of ethylene gas in properly sized ripening rooms does not exceed 25 percent of the lower explosive limit (LEL).

This means Catalytic Generators products are exempt from requiring special electrical adaptations in ripening rooms.

European Conformity - CE & UKCA

The company's ethylene generators have long carried the "CE" mark, and Catalytic Generators has recently added the "UKCA" mark. Following a recent reevaluation, the company continues to meet compliance standards. What does this mean?

It signifies that the generators comply with the EU's and UK's electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) directives. This ensures that the generators will operate as expected near other electronic devices and will not cause interference with nearby equipment.

TÜV SÜD, as an EU Notified Body, is authorized to evaluate products for compliance with the EU’s EMC Directive (2014/30/EU) and to approve the use of the CE and UKCA marks.
