EASY KIT®, the tool to monitor your decay control program and fruit residue compliance

The EASY KIT® system by CITROSOL is a big leap forward for quality control in postharvest processes for many types of fruit. EASY KIT is a very useful tool to maintain the homogeneity of the concentrations of Imazalil, Pyrimethanil and Orthophenylphenol in use and thus increase the effectiveness of the treatments used to control decay, as well as to comply with the MRLs and to meet the requirements of the distribution chain in relation to the content of the residue on the fruit. The EASY KIT® system provides "on site" quantitative measurements of concentrations of Imazalil, Pyrimethanil and Orthophenylphenol in treatment solutions, wax and water as well as measuring the residue of those fungicides on the residue of the fruit with reproducibility similar to that obtained by the official reference methods. EASY KIT® is the ideal tool to verify that postharvest treatment processes and the final product comply with the relevant Quality Standards (ISO 9000, ISO 14000, HACCP), and Good Agricultural Practices (GLOBAL G.A.P.) as well as ensuring the fulfilment of legal requirements and those of distribution chain in relation to the residue on the fruit. Measurements of the concentrations of fungicides and residues on the fruit made by EASY KIT® enjoy a similar reliability to those obtained by the normal chromatographic reference methods.
