WAX DOSING

Thanks to the latest technologies, Citrosol has designed an artificial visioning system wich helps adapt the wax flow depending on the tons of fruits deposited on the vonveyor belt. The main reason to develop this system was to achieve a correct wax application without regard ot the quantity of fruit to be wax-coated as well as to reduce the use of wax and improve the application of fungicide formulas. The artificial visioning system has two video cameras and a set of ligths that capture images from the conveyor belt and send them to the processing system. This one processes the information and calculates tons of oranges per hour.
