As global demand for potatoes continues to rise, precision in processing these tubers is essential. The Volantis™ slicer developed by FAM STUMABO is engineered for precise transverse slicing, tailored specifically for long and oblong-shaped products like potatoes.

Equipped with a specialized infeed chute, Volantis efficiently supplies potatoes to its 2-meter V-conveyor belts, ensuring a smooth, single-file flow directly to the slicing wheel. This design optimizes the slicer’s operation by minimizing clogs and reducing waste, making high-efficiency slicing achievable.

The V-belt slicer consistently delivers high-quality cuts, even at large volumes. With its high knife speed and distinctive cutting technique, it produces uniform slices with smooth surfaces, minimizing breakage and rough edges. Designed to handle both white and sweet potatoes up to 115 mm in diameter, Volantis offers exceptional slicing precision. Interchangeable slicing wheels provide flexibility, with slice thickness options ranging from 1.5 mm to 40 mm.
