Waterwax 2I by FOMESA FRUITECH is an emulsion of waxes in water to form a high gloss film with selective permeability on the surface of citrus fruit, improving their appearance (gloss). It delays ageing by controlling weight loss through a reduction in transpiration and respiration, thus lengthening the shelf life of the fruit. Contains a 2000 ppm concentration of imazalil fungicide, which controls the main rot-causing fungi that affect citrus fruit, particularly Penicillium spp. More information
