Giró Obtains Compostability Certification for GIRBIO Packaging

Giró has recently received the "OK Compost Industrial" certification from TUV Austria for its GIRBIO packaging, part of its bioplastic range.

The OK Compost INDUSTRIAL certification ensures that materials and packaging can be safely composted in industrial facilities, such as composting plants, contributing to more sustainable waste management.

The GIRBIO packaging offers several key advantages:

• Certified with the "OK Compost Industrial" label by TUV Austria.
• Production capacity of up to 32 bags per minute (for packaging up to 1 kg).
• Fully compatible with any Girbagger or Girbagger Speed Line.
• No additional kits are required for manufacturing.
