Agrosta Kingfisher, a new firmness tester for the citrus and avocado industry

Agrosta® Kingfisher is AGROSTA's new firmness analyzer, based on surface deformation.

The first devices have already been shipped to Kingfisher Fruits in South Africa.

Initially, this device was designed to determine the firmness in citrus fruits (lemon, orange and grapefruit), although it can be used for a wide variety of fruits, such as: avocado, mango, kiwi and strawberry.

Kingfisher has the following features

• It comes with a rechargeable battery and charger
• Bluetooth
• Set of tip protections against fruit juice
• Android app (includes voice function and barcode scanner, data storage, and statistics)
• Windows application (consists of a basic version of Excel)
• Maximum pressure 17 Kg, precision 5 grams

Under design

• pH meter for citrus (orange and grapefruit)
• PC connected (powered by USB) with direct communication with Excel and automatic calculation of statistics
