GIRO and SERFRUIT present BOX-IT: the new flagship case packer

This product family consists of packaging lines with productivities that can reach up to 80-100 bpm, depending on the selected components, format, and bag weight.

After renewing the entire set of machines, the last one waiting for an upgrade was the automatic case packer.

For this reason, during 2022, Serfruit and Giró have been jointly developing a new case packer that follows in the footsteps of the other machines in the Speed Line range: the new BOX-IT case packer.

This case packer combines all the attributes demanded by the market, making it an excellent option for customers looking to optimize productivity by automating the end of the line.

BOX-IT has the capacity to pack between 80 and 100 bags per minute.

Among its main features, the BOX-IT case packer offers:

• Easy handling and the ability to create new configurations.
• Weight checker with two buffer boxes for consecutive cases with weights outside the target.
• Ability to work with 600x400mm and 400x300mm boxes.
• Safety protections and alarms for maximum security.

By the end of 2022, the first prototype has been completed and installed in a warehouse for market testing. It is expected that by mid-2023, the BOX-IT case packer will be available for purchase.
