CTIFL is organising a Technical Day on Preservation and Post-Harvest Technologies for one afternoon at the ALPILIUM conference hall on 26 November in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Hosted by Sébastien Lurol, engineer and unit manager at CTIFL, the Technical Day on Preservation and Post-Harvest Technologies will be a free event taking place on the afternoon of 26 November 2024 in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, 100 km east of Montpellier.

There will be an overview of two current and essential topics for the fruit and vegetable sector:

  • Post-harvest technologies that reduce fruit and vegetable losses and preserve their quality (thermal treatments, ozone, storage routes, etc.)
  • Ways to reduce energy consumption in fruit and vegetable production stations

You will also have the opportunity to discover the latest work carried out by CTIFL and UMT IQUAR partners (University of Avignon, INRAE, etc.), and to discuss with other participants the latest post-harvest technologies aimed at increasing the competitiveness of companies.
