Citrosol joins the ARI Hub innovation platform

CITROSOL, European leader in technology and post-harvest treatment of fruit and vegetables, has joined the Agro-Rural Innovation Hub (ARI Hub), an initiative founded in the Valencian region of La Safor with the objective of promoting innovative projects in the field of the agri-food sector with a focus on rural development. promoted by the international food holding company, Vicky Foods, The Valencian company is joining this innovation platform with the aim of actively collaborating in the creation and development of solutions that promote efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness in the agri-food sector. This hub of innovation will afford Citrosol and other industry players the opportunity to share knowledge, ideas and resources, and by doing so to promote the exchange of experiences and to create projects that bolster research and the implementation of advanced technologies which will benefit the entire industry and promote the rural world. Collaboration favors innovationThe ARI Hub is structured to perform as an incubator and accelerator for startups and as a coming together of innovative companies (AEI – Agrupación de Empresas Innovadoras). Citrosol now forms a part of that group, whose purpose is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship, promote innovative projects and strengthen collaboration between public and private players in the agri-food and rural development sectors. Citrosol will actively collaborate in the promotion of an entrepreneurial culture, as well as in promoting innovative projects in the agri-food and rural development fields. Furthermore, through its collaboration, the Valencian company will offer others in the group its extensive knowledge and experience in financing activities for research and technological development projects and in addition, via specific agreements and conventions, will be contributing to the growth and development of the agri-food sector in the scientific, educational and technological fields and in cultural projects of joint regional, national and international scope.
