Fomesa Fruitech presented its news in postharvest treatments at Fruit Logistica 2017

Fruit Logistica 2017 has been one more opportunity to value the strong activity of our sector and its current situation. In this edition FOMESA FRUITECH has displaced a numerous team that has allowed contacting its main distributors and customers from all over the world. Three very intense days of contacts and meetings, from which have emerged projects and lines of development, which doubtless will give us many successes in the near future. We have been able to verify that the fair keeps good health, maintaining an important volume of visitors, exhibitors and very good activity, in the line of recent years. The sector still needs solutions that allow them to reach the final consumer, whatever their destination, with fruit in the best possible conditions. We are in a totally globalized commercial environment, and for that reason we take care that from any origin we are able to reach any destination in perfect conditions. A fundamental part of our activity at the fair has been oriented to continue projecting and publicizing some of our latest releases, such as: TOPPER, the phytogulator to prevent the blackening and fall of the chalice we have launched this campaign successfully. A formulation that has occupied an important place in the processes of increase of the quality in destiny of our citrus, since there is no other type of formula that can satisfy the necessity to avoid the fall of the chalices and to protect the peduncular zone of the fruits. In any cases, it offers us a very considerable added value. PENBOTEC, the Pirimetanil formulation registered in the first phase for pepita Fruit, which has been a success in its first year of use in those countries where it has been authorized. We have been able to check the quality of the fruit at the exit of the chamber, after the conservation, and the results have completely satisfied our customers. We continue with our process of analysis and monitoring of the results after the conservation, and all the parameters certify us the capacity of this formulated to provide us a perfect control in the diseases on which it acts. FYSIUM, a formulated alternative 1-MCP that will soon expand its registration in many more producing countries. The applications that have been made during the last years in those countries where it is authorized, have given excellent results. The high level of monitoring, control and technical support of this system and type of applications, make our customers have an extraordinary level of satisfaction.
