Giró: Ultimate packaging versatility

In GIRÓ we work to provide total versatility to our machines. On the one hand, our GirBagger and its new faster version GirBagger Speed Line is the most recognized sealing machine in the world, with more than 3,500 units in the market and capable of making heat-sealed packaging. On the other hand, our automatic clippers CA-9S and CA-10 can produce the Wineglass and Clip2Clip clipped packaging. Giró always works to ensure that the new packaging or new packaging formats that it launches can be made with the machines already in the market so that customers who already have Giró equipment, only need to buy a kit or adapt the machine. In no case are customers required to invest in new machines or occupy extra space in their warehouses with a new layout. The oldest formats in netting are the Girplus, the Girsac, the Ultrabag and the WG. Subsequently, Giró has been growing and evolving the formats according to market needs to differentiate them at the point of sale. We have created formats that can be found in supermarkets around the world such as the Handle Bag, the Window Compact, the Ultrabag, and Girsac fashioned, the MiniBag, the Girplusac, the C2C and, more recently, the Easy Open range and the Dual Handle. In recent years, with the growing concern for sustainability, Giró has not only innovated in terms of packaging formats but has gone a step further and created two new options, in addition to the already known 100% plastic: the 100% compostable line (Girsac and Ultrabag) and the 100% cellulose line (Girsac, Ultrabag, WG and, C2C). These packages can also be made with our existing GirBagger packaging machines, just by applying a kit or with the CA-9S/CA-10 respectively, always keeping our philosophy of incorporating new packaging solutions without the need to invest in new machines.
