Laurent Klotz, CEO of Agrosta, the French manufacturer of scientific instruments for the fruit and vegetable sector, reveals, in the interview by Fresh Plaza, "We are currently developing a new colour measuring system with artificial intelligence?, adding to the wide range of instrument to suit every need of colour, texture, elasticity or firmness, etc. Thanks to the blueberry market the company has been able to develop a different instruments and now plans to further improve in know-how and technologies to other fruit and vegetables, specially mango, apple and tomato. The highlighted instruments are Agrosta Belle, the general texture meter, which is used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sector as well as in the food sector, particularly in the fruit and vegetable sector. The already available Agrosta colorimeter, with a measurement system specially developed for the fruit and vegetable industry, can be used alone or in combination with the above devices. Mr. Klotz explains that “Agrosta's instruments and machines are developed on the basis of open source technologies, and therefore constantly follow the latest technologies.
