Instruments for the Cherry Season at Orchard View Farms

During the past month and a half FELIX INSTRUMENTS had the opportunity to work with Orchard View Farms in The Dalles, Oregon, to validate our F-750 Produce Quality Meter for use with cherries. Over the course of two separate trips, staff from Felix Instruments harvested, labeled, and scanned Chelan, Rainier, Lapin, and Bing cherry varieties. Models were created for Total Soluble Solids (Brix), and we will release an Application Note and Infographic on our work with cherries in the coming weeks.
