Introducing the MC2-FC controller

Just like other VDH controllers, the expertise and knowledge of specialists, installers and end users were also included during the development of the MC2-FC controller. It is important to note that the parameters and settings of the MC2-FC controller are freely accessible, so that the end user is not dependent on suppliers and installers. Flexible communication The MC2-FC controller has a housing with identical shape and dimensions as the FC 785-PC controller, making it easy to replace with the MC2-FC controller. What also makes the new controller special is the communication between FC 785-PC controllers and the MC3-Fruit system. This means that the MC2-FC controller can be included in the network and sub-networks of the FC 785-PC controllers or MC3-Fruit systems. Parameters are fully displayed in the touchscreen, which makes setting and reading out the MC2-FC controller a lot easier. Various icons indicate the current status of the controller. In addition to cooling, the fan, defrost and humidifier are also controlled by the MC2-FC. It is possible to defrost naturally, electrically or with hot gas. There are also separate counters for cooling actions / pulses, cooling time and for measured liters of water. Phases and cooling The MC2-FC controller distinguish 3 phases in which it can operate. In the cooling phase, cooling is carried out based on the required capacity. Cooling starts as soon as the cell temperature is too high. During the storage phase, cooling is carried out on a cycle time interval. This causes the controllers in one network to cool one after the other and not simultaneously. It is therefore possible to work with a small compressor capacity during the storage phase. In the standby phase, the cell only cools when required to supply hot gas to another cell that defrosts with hot gas. Inputs and outputs The MC2-FC controller itself has 5 temperature sensor inputs (also to be used as a digital input) and 5 relays. If more inputs or relays are required, the MC2-FC controller can be expanded with an optional extension module. This allows the MC2-FC controller to be expanded with 16 temperature sensor inputs and 12 relays. Remote control can be done by using VASP. VASP gives access to the advanced control functions, such as registrations, alarm settings etc. Interested and want to receive further information?
