Isofred installs an innovative fruit ripening chamber in the province of Lleida

On this occasion, Isofred has installed a new chamber for experimenting with fruit ripening in the province of Lleida, which meets all the client's requirements and has an open source Scada system and Siemens automatons for total control of CO? and ethylene concentrations in the chamber. In addition, a double-flow evaporator from KFL has been installed, with a total of four fans, which will remove a capacity of 24,000 m³/h. In this way, it is possible to monitor the entire ripening process to achieve a homogeneous fruit of optimum quality. This system represents an advance in the products and services offered by Isofred, which is committed to continuous improvement in the field of process monitoring.
