Meet Fruit Maps!  What is it?

While the F-750 Produce Quality Meter has been on the market and in use for a few years now, this fall Felix Instruments took the device a step further. They?ve partnered with Kerry Walsh, a professor at Central Queensland University and his research team to utilize the seemingly endless fields of Calypso Mangoes in creating the world?s first FREE fruit maturity app: Fruit Maps. This program will be available to any and all F-750 Produce Quality Meter users. Fruit Maps takes data generated on F-750 and puts it into a visual format that can be easily accessed. At present, Fruit Maps is in its final development stages and exists as a website with credentials provided to F-750 Produce Quality Meter beta testers. While the F-750 Produce Quality Meter has been on the market and in use for a few years now, this fall FELIX INSTRUMENTS took the device a step further. They’ve partnered with Kerry Walsh, a professor at Central Queensland University and his research team to utilize the seemingly endless fields of Calypso Mangoes in creating the world’s first FREE fruit maturity app: Fruit Maps. This program will be available to any and all F-750 Produce Quality Meter users. Fruit Maps takes data generated on F-750 and puts it into a visual format that can be easily accessed. At present, Fruit Maps is in its final development stages and exists as a website with credentials provided to F-750 Produce Quality Meter beta testers. In the (very) near the future, Felix Instruments is investing their resources to turning Fruit Maps into a phone app, allowing farmers to see the non-destructive readings from the F-750 in real time as it is collected and plotted by Fruit Maps whether they are at home, on the road, or in the field. You'll need an F-750 Produce Quality Meter...F-750's are available right now through Felix Instruments. As the developers finish the final stages of Fruit Maps, it is never too early to get acquainted with the F-750 and its capabilities. The F-750 now includes several starter models for a range of commodities including, but not limited to: - Avocado- Cherry- Mango- Grape- Kiwifruit- Sultana- Apple- Pear For a growing list of commodities and Application Notes, click here. When Fruit Maps is released, all F-750 Produce Quality Meter Users will receive an update and the opportunity to create a personal account to use Fruit Maps.
