Postharvest, quality and English language options in the new Master in Mediterranean Greenhouse production, University of Almeria

The Master in Mediterranean greenhouse horticulture is an evolution of 2 previous master's degrees offered by the UAL, University of Almeria, since 2005, the Master in Vegetable Production in Protected Crops (MPVCP) and, since 2009, Master in Technology and Innovation in Greenhouses (MTII). The actual master also includes an option focused on postharvest and quality of horticultural products, and another option about intensive vegetable & ornamental growing

Prof.?Maria Teresa Lao informs about the new Master in Mediterranean greenhouse horticulture. It is anevolution of 2 previous master's degrees offered by the UAL, University of Almeria, since 2005, the Master in Vegetable Production in Protected Crops (MPVCP) and, since 2009, Master in Technology and Innovation in Greenhouses (MTII). The actual master also includes an option focused on postharvest and quality of horticultural products, and another option about intensive vegetable & ornamental growing entirely in English.The aim is creating a single title in horticulture based on all the needed training related to the productive activity developed in the Almeria greenhouse industry. This model of horticultural production has a high potential for development in other growing areas worldwide.More information
