As a manufacturer of measuring and control equipment, the market for electronic components is essential. Due to the persistent lockdowns, our suppliers are finding it increasingly difficult to maintain stocks of electronic parts and components. The global supply chain is struggling like never before. There are a number of reasons for this. Production shutdowns or production delays due to the coronavirus, rising prices for copper and other materials. The increased worldwide demand for, for example, monitors and laptops for equipping workplaces requires a large capacity. In addition, the rapid increase in mobile devices in connection with introducing 5G and the increasing production of electric cars has created a major deficit in the already congested market.

The increased worldwide demand for, for example, monitors and laptops for equipping workplaces requires a large capacity. In addition, the rapid increase in mobile devices in connection with introducing 5G and the increasing production of electric cars has created a major deficit in the already congested market. Many of our suppliers are taking action, which results in cost increases and aggressive commercial conditions that we must meet in order to maintain stock levels. Most of our suppliers and partners are urgently pointing out an impending supply bottleneck due to increased market demand. That is why we inform you in time that the delivery times and prices will in some cases increase significantly. In addition to the production of electronic controllers, this will also apply to the production and delivery of control cabinets. Given this unfortunate situation we regret to inform you that, in accordance with the general terms and conditions of VDH PRODUCTS, world leader in temperature, pressure and relative humidity, in we are increasing prices for some of our products. This increase will be effective from march 1, 2021. Apart from the fact that we are increasing our stocks in order to continue deliveries as much as possible, we may be confronted with limited supplies in the coming period just like anyone else. To avoid delivery problems, we urge you to place your orders on time. All current VDH offers expire with effect from February 15, 2021. We trust your understanding for these difficult measures, but given the situation we believe it is necessary. Your VDH-team is of course available to share information and will assist you in further handling.SourceVDH Newsletter February 2021
