Smart Solutions: added value to the packaging process

A concern that Giró has had for a long time is to offer solutions that add value to the packaging process. Smart Solutions is just that. With this name, Giró has included smart features and smart products to the packaging, to improve the control, quality and efficiency of some processes. The Smart Solutions were presented in 2008 and are currently widely accepted and distributed worldwide. It include: - GirControl Plus, for controlling and evaluating production ratios - Smart Consumables System, to identify Giró consumables (net and Girfilm) through an RFID label - SpotLess, to improve the appearance of the packaging - CheckWeigher, a calibrated device that weighs every single packaging produced - GirLabel-12, generates labels and operates the label database, and transfers the information to the baggers.
