Success of URSCHEL cutting machinery improvements adding precision, capacity and easy cleaning

Urschel, the Global Leader in Food Cutting Technology, specializes in high capacity, precision size reduction for fruits, vegetables, and all other food and non-food. The company displayed two new prototype machines at Fruit Logistica. These will be released for sale in the near future.  The new TranSlicer® 2520 Cutter prototype (1st picture) is characterized by a high capacity, precision slicing plus accelerated cleaning times. Cutting wheels provide flat/crinkle slices, shreds, or julienne cuts. A divided discharge allows to include or separate fines. The HMI control screen (optional) provides preset cutting/wheel speed set-ups, analytical data, and more. Also on display, the new DiversaCut 2110A® with conveyor prototype (2nd picture). It maximizes the precision of the slicing, increases the capacity and makes easier the cleaning process. The the built-in VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) controlled discharge conveyor facilitates batch processing into totes, or onto platforms. The DiversaCut 2110A supplies slices, dices, shreds, or product granulations.
