The Tenth UK Onion & Carrot Conference

The biennial UK Onion & Carrot conference and trade exhibition will take place on Tuesday 14th November 2017 at The East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham. This is a well-established meeting point, conference and trade show for all those involved in production or allied to these significant industries from home and abroad. The Conference Dinner will be held on the evening of 14th November at the same venue, with accommodation available at the De Vere Orchard hotel next door. We are pleased to report that Kevin Hancock, Senior Buying Manager at Ocado?(picture 1) will address the audience in the afternoon to provide the latest information on developments in On-line Retailing. Daniel Johns, the Deputy Director of Farming Markets, at the Future Farming Directorate in DEFRA?(picture 2) will provide the opening address ? he will let the industry know how the UK Agriculture Policy post-Brexit is progressing. At the evening Conference Dinner, Alfie Moore, a highly recommended after dinner speaker will entertain guests following a drinks reception and three course meal with wine.
