All of this with high gentleness during transportation and fruit treatment during the phases of analysis and packing.Quality selection is a strategic asset, and Unitec systems (renowned for their innovation and reliability) enable the packing house to put into place strategies for internationalisation and to develop different export plans based on the different degrees of fruit ripeness. And because Unitec sorters also guarantee consumers a fruit quality which is consistent and coherent in time, they improve customer fidelity and help achieve the increased consumption that all parts of the supply chain hope to see.Attention to market needs, the development of tailor-made solutions for increasing efficiency and quality while reducing processing costs, and a strong international focus, have enabled Unitec to help customers achieve successful results in over 50 countries worldwide. The technologies on display included:UNI_ONE LF jolly©, an extremely versatile electronic sorter capable of processing a wide variety of fruitand vegetables including apricots, peaches, persimmons, lemons, aubergines, mandarins, apples, pears andeven tomatoes. The great versatility of this machine allows it to use the same system to sort products ofdifferent shapes, resulting in a considerable reduction of investment costs and amortisation times, and anincrease in the profitability of the entire processing cycle. The Ultravision system for internal and external quality selection, designed and programmed to sortall kinds of fruit (Apple Vision, Cherry Vision, Apricot Vision, Peach Vision, Blueberry Vision, etc.).InfoUNITEC S.p.A.Clara Colonelli clara.colonelli@unitec-group.com - www.unitec-group.com The pictures show Unitec stand at Macfrut 2014 (1st); Angelo Benedetti, general manager of the company, during a press conference (2nd picture), and part of Unitec installations in Apofruit packinghouse in Cesena.
