UNITEC started up new cherry sorting technologies at O-G Packing, and MORADA Produce, California

By a few weeks are operating the new electronic cherries sorting systems installed by UNITEC at O-G PACKING (32 lanes) and MORADA PRODUCE (40 lanes) of Stockton (CA), two of the most important California cherry packinghouses.These UNITEC new installations, that include the defect sorting system CHERRY_VISION©, have been presented during an open-house, the first one organized in the US from UNITEC, which was held in Stockton, May 29, at which was attended by packinghouse representatives from California, Oregon, Washington and Chile.“The line started production May 5”, said O-G PACKING plant manager TOM GOTELLI talking about new installations.He goes on, “We’ve been in business for over 60 years, I’m third generation, our family loves the cherry business.
