Washing system to reduce spoilage, sweet artichoke, fully recyclable palet box kit, efficient horizontal strapping machine, quality in logistic

Fruit Logistica 2019 Spotlight includes following products: DECONWA washing system, longer shelf life for fresh-cut products (1st. picture) The DECONWA washing system manufactured by KRONEN sanitises apples for fresh-fruit salads, reduces the spoilage rate, and enhances consumer safety ? all without chemical additives. It can be fully integrated into existing processing lines and used for similar fresh produce. A temperature-controlled process reduces bacteria level at 50?C. The insulated system is optimised for use in refrigerated rooms. The storage period for apples can be precisely controlled and hot water recirculated. Hygienic design and optimal cleaning are guaranteed. The system was developed as part of a research project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB) and the company Mirontell Fein & Frisch AG. Hygienic design and optimal cleaning are guaranteed. The system was developed as part of a research project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB) and the company Mirontell Fein & Frisch AG.? ROMOLO F1 hybrid artichoke, tender heart and sweet taste (2nd. picture)ROMOLO F1, by La Semiorto Sementi s.r.l., is the name of the first Romanesco-type hybrid artichoke for seeds. This hearty, uniform and productive variety is devoid of hair or thorns and is very tender. The hybrid of this Romanesco artichoke is medium-size. Green and purple artichokes are best for fresh consumption. They have a tender heart and sweet taste. According to the exhibitor, the spreading of the new artichoke's seed produces substantial quality and quantity. This reduces bedding costs due to the lower initial costs of the young plants. Conditions for plant health are improved and the incidence of diseases and fungal infections decreases since these are not normally transmitted by seeds. The artichoke requires less fertilizer and watering because plants grown from seeds develop a deeper root system and use of water sources more efficiently. ?palet Box, palet box kit, easy to assemble, fully recyclable?(3rd picture)Mandriladora Alpesa, ostensibly the largest manufacturer of cardboard mandrels, tubes and rings in Spain, is presenting its latest innovation for European markets at FRUIT LOGISTICA. Based on a patented design, the sustainable without compromise was honoured by Liderpack with an award for the best packaging for logistics and distribution. The new box is a single-load unit that can be easily stacked and offers additional advantages for logistics and storage. The kit is easy to assemble and made from a single material. This results in a positive residual value by eliminating return logistics. The pallet box is made entirely from recycled, biodegradable cardboard that is fully recyclable. According to the exhibitor, the aim is to make the entire logistics process more sustainable ? without sacrificing efficiency, endurance, optimization or the needs of companies on the sending and receiving sides. EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6-H horizontal strapping machine, virtually noiseless, low-wear and energy-efficient (4th picture)Designed for low-wear, high-speed applications, the new?Mosca EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6-H with patented ultrasonic technology has been added to the company's range of horizontal strapping machines. Celebrating its debut at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2019, this model triple-straps up to 180 packages per hour. Operation is virtually noiseless with maximum energy efficiency and minimum wear. The EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6-H features a freely movable horizontal strap guide frame. Packages with a height of up to 2.3 metres are placed beneath the frame with or without protective cardboard. Thanks to the horizontal frame positioning, products can be optimally strapped even when they are not perfectly aligned with the sealing unit.Transport and logistics for refrigerated containers, maximizing quality with new technologies (5th picture)The MSC?Mediterranean Shipping Company is a world leader in transport and logistics. As the refrigerated container business continues to grow, the company is investing heavily in new technologies to better meet the growing demand for fresh produce. Together with partners including MaxTend, Liventus, Purfresh, Carrier Transicold and MCI, the company is using a number of innovative systems. XtendFRESH?, for example, slows ripening and extends the shelf life of fresh fruit and vegetables. This enables export over longer distances and creates new market opportunities. MSC is constantly working on new technologies and new software for reefer containers to better monitor cargo and its position. This ensures that the produce always arrives at its destination fresh and in top quality. At FRUIT LOGISTICA, the shipping company is providing information on current projects and the latest developments for customers interested in switching to natural, more eco-friendly cooling systems as part of a sustainable strategy.?
