D-Quality Survey, with its capability to conduct assessment and data management of packaging trials, quality comparisons among different exporters, and price analysis based on market labels, has proven to be an invaluable tool for Paclife.

According to Julio Ruiz-Tagle, Asia & Americas Manager at D-Quality Survey:

"An advantage is the flexibility in addressing any issues the company may encounter."

This adaptability allows DQS to evolve alongside its clients, ensuring strict technical protocols demanded by Paclife are met.

The collaboration includes comprehensive monitoring of Paclife's bagging or packaging systems performance, evaluating fruit condition and quality, condensation levels, and defect rates such as rot, under specific variables like temperature and container ventilation. This information is delivered through data visualization platforms, crucial for making informed and strategic decisions that enhance final product quality.

A standout aspect of this partnership is the added value of having an external entity verify and validate quality processes. Ruiz-Tagle emphasizes that this approach provides "realistic and reliable data" enabling Paclife to make informed decisions about effective packaging technology and improvements. Cristian Parra, Paclife's commercial manager, underscores the importance of this collaboration from the company's perspective:

"This alliance has allowed us to elevate our quality standards and ensure our products meet the highest expectations of our customers. It gives us confidence that we are offering the best in the global market without a doubt."

The difference between working with DQS and without their services is substantial. The presence of an independent quality control company ensures product consistency, reduces risks, and enhances reputation by meeting high standards. Ruiz-Tagle explains that this:

"Allows Paclife or the packaging to be recognized for its high quality standard," in addition to facilitating compliance with regulations and continuous process improvement.

Looking ahead to the upcoming export season to Asia, significant growth in cherry production is anticipated, especially in the Chinese market. This increase poses logistical challenges that require careful planning to avoid congestion and ensure delivery of high-quality products. Ruiz-Tagle highlights the importance of "improving fruit processing capacity" and optimizing logistics and distribution to diversify destinations and optimize product timelines without compromising quality.

The collaboration between Paclife and D-Quality Survey not only improves the quality of exported products but also strengthens Paclife's position in the global market by ensuring its products meet the most demanding expectations. This strategic and detailed approach is crucial for addressing international market challenges and ensuring continued success in agricultural exports.
