Alternatives for plastic packaging

Consumers and packers would much rather get rid of plastic packaging, and the legislation and supermarkets try to help. Wouter van Teeffelen explains that the patented machine rolls a kind of paper band round the packaging, which has all the important information printed on it. Packaging and cover are 100% recyclable. A slightly simpler device that makes it possible to label products manually is still under development.??
