The app is part of Bizerba’s BRAIN2 software platform. The app can be set up individually according to specific requirements for systematic, efficient inspections along the supply chain. With the customizable, freely definable sample inspection, user-defined hints are displayed on the terminal along with an overview of the operating sequence, thereby minimizing the time required for sample inspections. Any additional steps and requirements for a specific sample are communicated via the terminal. Alarms for samples on the production system can be configured based on time or volume. The system then executes the sample sequence, saving human resources and avoiding costly errors including potential overfilling. Transparent ReportingWhen a sample is initiated, the system automatically sets up an inspection plan with the default values of products that are known or unknown to the system. Thanks to the centralized, unified management of the inspection sequence, application-specific reports including product, result, process, or system-related data can be created at the push of a button, thereby avoiding any tedious manual capturing and report-creation efforts. The captured data also provide meaningful values for assessing suppliers and evaluating new production equipment. Reports are stored in the file system and can optionally be sent by email to pre-defined recipients or directed to a pre-defined printer. Compared to the manual compilation of reports in regular intervals, automatic reporting saves significant time and cost.
