BrimaPack BV announced today that they have been nominated in the category ‘Best New Packing/Processing Equipment’ for the United Fresh 2017 Produce Innovation Awards. The United Fresh 2017 Produce Innovation Awards honor the results of years of R&D and the foresight of companies bringing innovation to the marketplace. This year’s finalists will be on display in the West Hall of McCormick Place, June 14-15. Visitors will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite."We are thrilled to be nominated for the United Fresh 2017 Produce Innovation Awards”, Ron van de Pavert, BrimaPack’s CEO, says. "Our unique e-Drive system is lowering fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions drastically and is providing optimal drivability appropriate for today’s demands and future expectations.”The VeTrac e-Drive is powered by the on-board generator set or directly of the power grid and is even prepared for future battery / solar cell generated power supply. The VeTrac e-Drive has multiple advantages and unique characteristics compared to the conventional harvesters and machine carriers:Fuel economy: The fuel consumption of a conventional harvester varies from 2 up to 3 Gallons per hour. The VeTrac uses less than 1 Gallon per hour brings a reduction of 50% to 75%, saving on direct cost and providing a tremendous reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.Drivability: Conventional hydraulic caterpillar tracked carriers are very difficult to control, unprecise and inefficient. The E-Drive system however is uniquely precise, variable and controllable which increases productivity and opens the way to precision farming and even autonomous driving paths/patterns at an incredible low power consumption of less than 1 kW for a 22 ton harvester at 300 Feet per hour.Noise emission: The noise emission on the platform is less than 75 DB which makes the working environment very pleasant. When running directly of the power grid it will be totally silent.System Integrated Solution: The VeTrac e-Drive carrier can be used for various types of applications. Starting at Transplanting, all the way thru to harvesting. Working platforms in de range of 20 x 20 Feet up to 30 x 35 Feet are available. Lifting capacities from 3 to 12 tons, front and rear. The carrier can be equipped with; pre- and post-sorting technologies, labelling/printing, logistics, GPS controlled remote access for service, diagnostics and monitoring, even from your smart phone. The customer specific design, ensures an optimal solution tailored to your specific needs. To learn more about the VeTrac e-Drive Planting / Harvesting Rig or ask for a quotation, contact Ron van de Pavert at +31 315 640 731 or send an email to sales@brimapack.com  To know more about Brimapack and United Fresh Produce Association, please see the Press Release (below) Pictures1 - Brimapack VeTrac e-Drive 2 - Columbia VeTrac
