CAMA2020 welcomes Robert Prange

Robert Prange will be the next invited speaker at CAMA2020, the XIII International controlled and modified atmosphere research conference in Leuven, Belgium, May 17-20, 2020. Under the theme ?Fast Forward to a Fresh Future?, the conference aims to create a unique exchange forum for discussing recent progress in scientific knowledge and industrial development of controlled and modified atmosphere technology for fruit and vegetables. About Robert Prange Robert Prange (Ph.D.) is a co-author of the 3rd edition of the book ?Controlled Atmosphere Storage of Fruit and Vegetables? (CABI, 2018, 420 pp.). He is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and was formerly Senior Research Scientist, Postharvest Biology and Technology, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Professor and Head, Department of Plant Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University. He has published over 100 scientific articles, primarily in the field of postharvest biology and technology with a particular interest in Controlled Atmosphere applications in fruits and vegetables. In recognition of his research, and numerous innovations adopted by the postharvest industry around the world, especially the HarvestWatch (DCA-CF) technology, he has received a number of awards including Fellow of the American Society for Horticultural Science, Canadian Partners in Technology Transfer Award and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to Canada. Robert will give a presentation entitled: Observations on CA and DCA trends for apple and pears in the last 20 years Abstract submission Together with the invited speakers, the organization committee is preparing an exciting program to complement your original contributions.
