According to the National Development and Reform Commission, by 2020 China's cold chain logistics market exceeded 380 billion yuan ($60 billion), its cold storage capacity reached about 180 million cubic metres and refrigerated vehicles 280,000 units, more than double the figures recorded at the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015).
