PACLIFE has developed an unique new technology, patented and manufactured in Chile, the DYNAMIC Modified Atmosphere Packaging. It implies the incorporation into the polymer matrix of inorganic and synthetic additives such as zeolite, a type of mineral or silicate compound capable of absorbing gases such as ethylene, main responsible of accelerating fruit ripening. This technology integrates other technological elements, such as polymer modification, which has been amended to expand its permeability three times more than a common or mechanical plastic. Besides moisture diffusers additives, which together with the selective permeability, achieve a lower concentration of humidity or condensation into the container, minimizing free water droplets in the packaging.
