Impressions of Fruit Attraction 2013

Last week was held the 5th . Edition of Fruit Attraction 2013, showing the efforts of the organizers to improve every year the details of this horticultural business showcase, with participation of fruit & vegetable growers, exporters, the postharvest technology, and, increasingly, the field technology. A growing number of exhibitors use the Innova space to highlight its new products. The companies Decco and Tecnidex informed about the new fungicide to fight against Geotrichum in citrus fruits.? Citrosol showed its new portable nebulizer for environmental disinfection. Apricot vision, by Unitec, is a packinghouse grader to separate soft apricots. For point of sale, Bizerba scale issues messages in 3D without special glasses. Also an interesting program of technical conferences and activities run together with the exhibition, with participation of recognized postharvest specialists such as Mabel Gil, Carlos Crisosto, Pablo Zoffoli, ?, and presentation of new products like the hygienic washing and control of decay in bell pepper, and control of decay and spotting in citrus fruits, both by Citrosol.
