After exhibiting in Asia Fruit Logistica, INTERKO, leading provider of ripening solutions, went to the annual WorldFood Moscow exhibition on 11-14 September. The aim was to explore the potential of opening a representative Interko office to support growing business in the country, a country in which Interko already has done numerous projects, and is a growing market. To meet with the local customers allowed to explain how the manufacturer’s advanced ripening technology can cut operational costs and increase profitability. Chris Maat Interko's Managing Director/Partner and Business Development Manager highlights the high satisfaction for the interest and quality of the visitors in both exhibitions. For many of the visitors, interested in energy efficiency, the meeting with INTERKO allows to quickly put figures to their energy usage to understand the true extent of their outgoings. Then we can calculate how our energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions can raise their profitability. REVERSO, by Interko, the reversible fan range, has beaten its already ambitious energy consumption target of just 100 watts per pallet at full airflow.Interko ripening systems are used for banana, mango, papaya, avocado, kiwi, tomatoes, ...
