Visitors to this month’s Asia Fruit Logistica and World Food Moscow trade shows will be able to learn firsthand how Interko, the leading multinational provider of cutting-edge fresh fruit ripening systems, is making its machinery even smarter thanks to its latest ripening technology, designs and developments.Chris Maat, managing director/partner of the company, will be present at both events in September to provide customers with information on the latest technological advancements in ripening technology that are now available as part of the tailor-made solutions and bespoke services that Interko is able to provide worldwide.“We shall be presenting the very latest in ripening technology when we exhibit at Asia Fruit Logistica and World Food Moscow this year,” says Chris. “Visitors to our stand can learn how we are pushing the frontiers of ripening with an exciting range of energy and cost-saving solutions that make for the most efficient ripening rooms on the market today.”With ever-increasing demand for energy-efficient systems, the company has just launched a range of reversible EC fans that provide efficient air movement technology and full user-controllability. Each fan can be controlled simply and individually, allowing for fans to be switched off in any unloaded bays at any given stage. The fans are linked to the fully-integrated unique Interko Smart ripening control system. This allows for precision ripening and monitoring of the ripening process to a degree that has not previously been possible.“Our new fans provide customers with a new level of flexibility,” points out Chris. “Usage can be adapted in line with the number of bays being used. It’s another exciting step in ripening technology. We have already delivered the first Interko rooms containing these new fans.”Ongoing global expansionBy exhibiting at Asia Fruit Logistica, Interko aims to boost its position in South East Asia where the company has already delivered multiple projects to operators in Malaysia, Singapore and mainland China. The company also plans to strengthen its contacts with existing and new clients from Japan, India and other Asian markets.“Asia Fruit Logistica is a very effective trade show for us,” explains Chris. “This will be the fourth year that we have exhibited and we find it to be a fantastic place for meeting with the decision-makers in our industry.”Later this month Interko will also exhibit for the first time at World Food Moscow. Russia and the CIS countries continue to be strong and interesting markets for the company and Interko is keen to demonstrate its commitment to the Russian market in particular.“Russia has always been a very good market for us,” notes Chris. “It’s always offered us a very consistent business and we are keen to strengthen our presence both there and in Russia’s neighbouring countries. By exhibiting at World Food Moscow, which is the largest food and fruit-related event that Russia has to offer, we wish to show our interest and willingness to help our Russian clients with their ripening and ripening management requirements.”Interko Smart technologyInterko has enjoyed another solid year in business following the introduction of its fully-integrated Interko Smart ripening control system, which offers state-of-the-art technology and a simple control process for the end user. The company reports that this system, complete with a new integrated design and sensors, is second-to-none in terms of mechanical quality and air-flow efficiency.“To put it simply, Interko Smart enables clients to obtain a maximum quality output from a minimum human input,” states Chris. “It took us two years to put all of our expertise into developing this unique integrated system, which we see as the most effective and forward-thinking ripening technology available on the market today.”With Asia Fruit Logistica and World Food Moscow just around the corner, Interko invites both existing and potential clients to visit its stand where they can meet with Chris Maat, and Business Development Manager Anna Zegveld.“Come and see us to find out more and to discover how our bespoke service can solve your ripening requirements through tailor-made solutions,” Chris comments. “We’re proud to offer everything from a simple plug-and-play ripening solution for a basic room to high-end, multi-layer ripening rooms for big distribution centres.”Meet us in September!Make an appointment to learn more about our fruit ripening systems. We look forward to meeting you at:Asia Fruit LogisticaHall 3, Stand AA-267-9 September 2016Hong KongWorld Food MoscowPav. 2.2, Stand D15312-15 September 2016Moscow, RussiaTo make an appointment for Asia Fruit Logistica or World Food Moscow, please contact:Chris Maat or Anna ZegveldTel: +31 (0)79 593 2581Mobile: +31 6 53 46 00 02info@interko.com About INTERKOInterko is the global leader for the design, manufacture and installation of cost-effective, high quality and low-maintenance ripening rooms for fresh fruit, and cooling systems for the horticulture sector.Founded over 40 years ago, Interko develops reliable systems that are built to last.
