Interko seeks additional installation partners

INTERKO, the world’s leading supplier of cooling and banana ripening systems, is seeking new installation partners from across the globe when it exhibits for the first time at Chillventa in Nuremberg, Germany, on 14-16 October.“Chillventa is the leading international trade fair for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump systems,” says Chris Maat, managing director/partner of Interko. “It's one of the most important technology events in the world and we see it as an ideal place for meeting and doing business with potential installation partners.”Interko already benefits from a strong network of partners who provide professional installation and maintenance support for the company’s state-of-the-art ripening systems.“Our customers can work with an installer of their own choice, but many prefer to liaise with our preferred installers, all of whom are familiar with the fresh fruit business in which we operate,” Maat notes.Interko offers everything from a simple plug and play ripening solution for a basic room to high-end, multi-layer ripening rooms for big distribution centres. The firm is especially keen to find installers with the appropriate experience in countries outside Europe.“We have excellent partners in most European countries,” says Maat. “We are keen to develop this network further while, at the same time, find new partners from overseas where we are witnessing strong demand for our cooling and ripening rooms for bananas and tropical fruits.”To date Interko has installed ripening rooms in over 50 countries across the globe.
