How to check if your conveyor or elevator is tracking correctly 1. Safely start your conveyor. 2. Load produce onto the belt. 3. Make sure belt is centred between the side foldings and that belt edges are not touching either side.

If either edge is touching, tracking is incorrect.Troubleshooting incorrect belt tracking- Damaged belt: Replace belt.- Incorrect produce loading: Make sure produce is loaded on the centre of the belt.- Dirty equipment: Dirt and water under the belt affects friction. Clean equipment inside and out.- Rolling parts misaligned: See below for adjustment information.How to adjust belt tracking1. Safely start your conveyor.2. Load produce onto the belt.3. At the drive end, loosen tensioner locknut or retention plate on one side of the conveyor.4. Turn adjuster nut one full turn.Note: Tightening the tension will push belt away from the side you are working on.5. Watch the belt through two full rotations (so the belt has time to reposition).6. Make small adjustments until the belt is tracking properly.Note: Make adjustments on the opposite side at the return end if needed.7. When tracking is correct, retighten locknuts.8.
