Isolcell participates with N2 FireFighter to the Datacenter Solutions Awards 2013 and after a first selection, N2 FireFighter has reached the finals! N2 FireFighter is under the heading FireFighter, under Technology awards, under Datacenter facility product of the year.Main characteristics of the new system are:- Isolcell N2 FireFighter Oxygen Reduction Fire Prevention System provide a means of inhibiting the development of flaming fires and thus of preventing fires from causing significant damage.- Optimization/reduction of the amount of inert gas introduced in theenvironment, which is conveyed to where it is actually needed.- Consequent reduction of energy consumption needed in order to maintain the self -extinguishing atmosphere.- Air is clean and low humidity, so it does not damage the hardware- Safe for human operators, but completely prevents ignition 14.5% oxygen (vs. 21% normal) is equivalent to being at 3,300 m.More information about N1FireFighter is inluded in the link below, "Oxygen Reduction Fire Prevention System".
