IX International Strawberry Symposium Awards

During the IX International Strawberry Symposium (ISS2021) three young researchers will be selected for an award in Memory of Pasquale Rosati, Chad Finn and Rolf Nestby.To be eligible for this award, young researchers (age limit 40) must be the leading and presenting author of the submission and should be enrolled in an university or college. They must be registered and participating (in person or online) to the symposium.The winners will receive a prize of 1000 euro.In addition, two junior scientists will be selected for the ISHS Young Minds Awards (https://www.ishs.org/young-minds-award). The awards will be granted to the researchers selected for their best oral and poster presentation.To be eligible for this award, junior scientists (age limit 35) must be the leading and presenting author of the submission and should be enrolled in a university or college (undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate, limited to 6 months after finishing the program of study). They must be registered and participating (in person or online) to the symposium.The winners will receive an ISHS Young Minds Award certificate and a one-year complimentary membership of the ISHS, and will be invited to write a summary on their research for publication in Chronica Horticulturae (https://www.ishs.org/chronica-horticulturae).To participate, you must confirm to meet the criteria for both types of awards by contacting the ISS2021 organizers at?ISS2021@aimgroup.euA special committee, set up by the Symposium Conveners and an ISHS Representative, will be responsible for selecting the awardees during the symposium.
