MACFRUT 2022 closed with a bang. The international trade show for the fresh produce industry, held from May 4 to 6 at Rimini Expo Center, registered 38,500 visitors, with an increase of +18% compared to the edition of September 2021. But beyond the numbers, it was the great quality of the visitors that marked this 39th edition, the result of renewed interest in Italian fruit and vegetable production on the part of European distribution, as well as an increase in foreign visitors. Despite the fact that only 8 months have passed since the last edition and that international tensions are still going on, there was unanimous appreciation from the exhibitors, who confirmed Macfrut as the reference showcase for Italian fruit and vegetables in the world.

"We are proud of this result, for which I would like to thank first of all the exhibitors, all the teams of specialists and the staff of Cesena Fiera: all of them have worked together to organize this great event - says Renzo Piraccini, President of Macfrut - We have clearly perceived the great potential of this event and therefore we accept the challenge that the Director of Ice-Agenzia Roberto Luongo launched at the inauguration: to make Macfrut the most important exhibition of the sector in Europe".
