Millennials have been in the forefront of marketers targeting this generation as the most infuential buyers out there. Well, not too far behind on their heels is Gen Z. This new age group of potential buyers is just coming of age and will surely be a force to recon with. According to a recent report by The Hartman Group, "Gen Z are diverse, connected, aware, and socially and politically engaged. With its oldest members just entering their 20's, this generation is poised to be a disruptive force culturally and as a market". With this in mind, there are surely more changes to come in the future of marketing as a whole. This generation tends to be more debt adverse and practical than their predecessors. They are looking at quality, location and price when considering food and beverage purchases. Having grown up with technology their entire lives, online shopping will most likely play a very important part in their future purchases. Just when you think you've got it all gured out, along comes the next generation, taking us down a whole new path to success.
