NatureSeal formulation inhibits the guacamole browning after seal opening

Avocado and guacamole have become two of the trendiest foods -especially in recent years. This fruit offering has exploded in popularity among restaurants and retail establishments. The concern always reverts back to the immediate browning when avocados are cut or when guacamole is prepared. NatureSeal Agricoat introduced another addition to the avocado product line that delays the browning in fresh-cut avocados and guacamole in both ambient (up to 4 hours) and refrigerated temperatures (up to 3 days). This new formulation has been created specifically to treat avocados and the mashed form used in guacamole, allowing them to remain fresh, green and appetizing. Although guacamole will remain green when packaged and unopened, the challenge has always been to inhibit the browning after the seal is broken. With the new Nature Seal formulation, guacamole sold at retail now has the shelf-life a consumer requires after opening, thus lasting through an entire event.
