Pellet heating system for raspberry cultivation

The customer had a raspberry production problem due to a lack of air conditioning in the greenhouse and wanted an environmentally friendly system with neutral CO2 emissions. MET MANN, after studying the thermal needs of the greenhouse, proposed the installation of two units of our BM-300 model that develop 300 kW/h of heating power with an efficiency of more than 90%. The equipment was manufactured with an ash extraction system and burners that are easy to clean and maintain. As for pellet storage, an external silo with a capacity of up to 20 tonnes has been installed, and by means of a screw conveyor system, the necessary pellets are supplied to the feed tanks of each of the units. The air distribution is carried out with ducts applied in the air distribution box of each of the units and the air is distributed homogeneously inside the greenhouse to be air-conditioned. The units are working at full capacity and the client has expressed his satisfaction with the system used.
