Chandler were planted in mid October with a spacing of 45 x 30 cm on raised beds. The investigation was conducted under RBD factorial design with ten treatments which replicated thrice and five storage intervals. The results of the study revealed that during storage, treatment T8 (SA 2 mM as pre and post harvest) also found to be effective in prolonging the storage life of strawberry fruits by reducing the PLW (35.81%), spoilage (35.33%) and fungal decay to significant extent upto 16 days of storage. Hence, SA 2 mM considered to be best when applied at both pre and post harvest to the strawberry runners in enhancing the quality attributes as well as to maintain the storage life of fruits upto 16 days of storage at 4 0C.
