ULMA PACKAGING has shown interesting novelties within its wide range of packaging solutions for the produce industry. Technologies that extend the shelf-life of fruits and vegetables to keep their flavors and aromas until the moment of being consumed. The main highlight comes with the VTC 840 vertical wrapper with a product aspiration system specially designed for herbs and leaf produce. This revolutionary technology avoids product bridging and complemented with the ultrasonic sealing jaws, guarantees up to 99.99% of tight bags. This new package guarantees the maximum breathability required by stone fruits as peaches, nectarines, plums etc. Another flow wrapper is the Atlanta E with an automatic multibelt feeder designed for contactless feeding of trays. This feeding system is specially suited to feed trays with soft and delicate fruits that do not allow buffering with contact. Finally, the TSA 875 P traysealer was shown for packaging of fruits and vegetables on tray. Its CMC (Continuous Motion Control) allows the maximum flow of trays to optimize output. Its high performance makes possible to seal 200 trays per minute with a cadence of 25 cycles/min.
