VI International Postharvest Unlimited Conference

The VI International Postharvest Unlimited Conference?will be held under the auspices of the International Society of Horticultural Science (ISHS). The Conference will take place in Fruit Attraction, one of the most prestigious Fresh Produce Exhibition of Europe, in Madrid (Spain) from October 17th to 20th, 2017. The Conference is a joint initiative of the Departments of Food Science of University Miguel Hern?ndez (Alicante, Spain) and CEBAS-CSIC (Murcia, Spain). The conference aims to facilitate communication and discussion related to all aspects of postharvest quality, from breeding, to production and postharvest handling. There will be focused sessions to address key problems related to physiology and physiological disorders, metabolomics for quality, plant microbiota from safety to biocontrol as well as postharvest storage (CA and MA), packaging and innovations to reduce postharvest losses. There is also a visit tour to Fruit Attraction pavilions. The conference will provide the opportunity for scientists, professionals and students to present their latest findings and promote the exchange of ideas. The scientific program?comprised of plenary sessions of relevant keynote speakers, oral sessions as well as e-poster display sessions with a short oral presentation that are expected to provide discussion and promote scientific dialogues among participants on fundamental research and postharvest implications and innovations.
