Wyma?s NEW Vege-Polisher? machine leads the way again

The NEW Wyma Vege-Polisher™, available to growers throughout Australasia this October, is smarter, safer, and more hygienic and maintenance friendly than ever before. On 9th October 2014, WYMA is hosting a launch for Australasian customers, at their head office and manufacturing facility in Hornby, to reveal the new design features to the market for the first time. The American and European markets will wait see the new machine at global tradeshows in January and February 2015, respectively. Guests will also be invited to tour the manufacturing facility to view four large vegetable processing lines in production - due for shipment to customers in USA, Germany, Dominican Republic and Australia. The design enhancements of the Vege-Polisher™ are a result of over 20 years refinement based on insightful customer feedback. Vegetables growers and packers from around the world gave their feedback on Wyma’s current design and left the rest to the Wyma Engineer’s. The results are: smart, automated machine operation via touch screen (a first for the vegetable polishing industry); improved access for maintenance and cleaning – no tools required to access the drum and brushes; turnkey electrical solution - no more onsite wiring required; refined water application to improve water distribution and hygiene; increased safety compliance with RFID safety switches; automatic brush reversal - to extend bristle life, isolated wash zone for improved hygiene - more water and debris are contained within the wash zone; and automated water recycling - a turnkey water management system to reduce water consumption.
